On March 29, 2021, the world and our campout lost a great man. I can't put into words how important Bob was to our campout and to our campers. He was usually the first person to greet the campers as they arrived and he always had a smile for everyone. He will be greatly missed but I know he would have wanted the campout to continue. RIP Bob Whittaker
On March 3, 2026 heaven gained another angel. Dennis Watson, our beloved ex campout coordinator left this earth to be with our fellow campers who have passed along the years.
In 2011, after our previous coordinator, John Szewczyk passed away, Dennis was chosen to help coordinate the LVLPWA Campout. He did that for many years until Covid disrupted our lives. He was a kind and generous man who was loved by all and we will miss his loud and boisterous laugh.
